I was flipping channels last night before going to dinner at The Cherry Cricket with my friend Thad and stopped on an episode of The Simpsons.
As Sideshow Bob was being led away in handcuffs after trying to kill Aunt Selma, he issued a warning: “I’ll be back. You can’t keep the Democrats out of the White House forever. And when they get in, I’m back on the streets with all my criminal buddies!”
I often forget how much that show makes me laugh. For a year or two, it was a ritual of mine to watch back-to-back syndicated reruns while preparing and eating dinner.
