I don’t know why I’ve felt so much pressure about the first post on the new blog. Earlier this week I looked back at The Sporting Life and realized I kicked things off there rather blandly. So I guess it’s time to finally jump in with both feet.

Just like when I bought my house, I’m moving into these new surroundings with many things still to be done. But my friend Eddie was kind enough to provide me with server space, so I’m sure he’d begun to wonder why in the world he had if the place is never gonna get used. So here we go.
