Dating Tip No. 2: Lying in the first conversation is rarely a good idea.
Me: “So how long have you owned your own gym? Where in town is it?”
Date: “Well, when we talked before, I didn’t exactly tell you the truth about what I do for a living.”
Me: “Oh, yeah? What is it you do?”
Date: “Let’s see … How do I put this? ... I make women beautiful.”
Me: “So you’re a hairdresser?”
Date: “We prefer the title ‘stylist.’ And I don’t just do hair. I also do makeup.”
...
Me: “Check, please?”

Please tell me this wasn’t the same person who didn’t want you to say “blessed.” ‘Cause I really don’t want two of those people walking around….
Also, this is why I don’t date anymore. Instead, I watch poker on TV and try to think of new ways to eat granola.
